Sprout Pocket Privacy Policy
Applies to: Sprout Pocket 1.1.0 · Effective: 2026-10-22 · Provided by MASHONG
Sprout Pocket (the "App") is a game with no sign-up. The App has no Operator game server. MASHONG (the "Operator") processes information you voluntarily send when contacting support, as explained below. This policy explains what stays on your device and what is processed by external services.
1. Information the Operator collects directly
The game does not request your name, email address or phone number, access your photos, contacts, microphone, camera or GPS location, or send game progress to an Operator server. This is separate from the advertising SDK processing described in section 3 and support correspondence described in section 8.
2. Information stored only on your device
- The state and name of the pet you are raising, and your Memory Album entries
- Your sound, notification, haptics and language settings, and whether you have purchased ad removal
This information stays on your device and the Operator cannot see it. Deleting the App deletes the game data on the device. If you use device backups (such as iCloud), a separate backup copy may remain depending on your Apple backup settings.
3. Ads (Google AdMob) — information processed by an external service
The App uses the Google AdMob SDK to show a banner ad at the bottom of the screen. When an ad is requested, the following information may be sent to and processed by Google.
| Information processed | Device type and operating system information, ad request, impression, error and performance information, approximate location inferred from the IP address, and device- and app-level identifiers |
|---|---|
| Purpose | Ad delivery and measurement, advertising and SDK analytics and improvement, and fraud prevention. Google’s SDK disclosures also include third-party advertising, developer advertising or marketing, and analytics |
| Recipient | Google LLC and affiliates and service providers described in Google’s policies |
| Countries and timing of transfer | Google operates servers around the world and may process information outside your country. Network transfers may occur during SDK initialization and ad requests or display. We do not guarantee one specific processing country for every request. |
| Retention | Governed by Google's policies (policies.google.com/privacy). |
- The App requests ads with ad personalization and Google's publisher first-party identifier turned off, and limits ad content to a rating suitable for all audiences.
- After confirming that you have not purchased ad removal, the App asks for iOS App Tracking Transparency permission while it is active. Ad initialization and requests are not conditional on responding to the tracking prompt; purchase status and whether the App is active determine when ads can start. Tracking permission is a separate choice from whether ads are displayed. If you allow tracking, the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used for ad delivery and measurement. If you decline or tracking is restricted, the App may still request non-personalized ads through Google's path that does not send the IDFA. Every ad request is sent with npa=1, with ad personalization and the publisher first-party identifier turned off. Non-personalized ads may still process approximate IP-based location and ad and diagnostic data, so this does not mean that no data is collected. You can play, buy and restore purchases whether or not you allow tracking. The App does not ask for permission again if your purchase is already confirmed. If you withdraw tracking permission in iOS Settings and return to the App, the existing banner may be removed and a new ad requested with the same non-personalized settings.
- Google's SDK may process the information above to deliver ads, measure performance and prevent abuse, in accordance with Google's policies.
- Once ad removal is confirmed on this device, the App does not request ads. If purchase confirmation is delayed ad requests are held for up to 10 seconds and may then be made; when the purchase is confirmed the ad disappears and requests stop. The 10 seconds is not an upper limit on how long ads may be shown. A new tracking permission request is made only after the store confirms there is no purchase.
4. Payments (Apple In-App Purchase)
The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes your payment information, and the Operator does not receive your card or Apple account details. The App only checks on your device purchase entitlement and the receipt and does not send it to the Operator. Purchases are restored through the Apple account used for the purchase. Restoring ad removal does not restore game progress. Ad removal is a one-time non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. Check the local App Store price before purchasing.
5. Notifications
Reminders that tell you when your pet needs care are local notifications scheduled on your device and do not go through any external server. You can turn them off in the App's settings or in your device settings.
6. Your rights and choices
- You can contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent for support information you have sent. The Operator cannot remotely view or delete game progress stored on your device. Deleting the App may remove that progress; it does not delete backups or information processed by Google or Apple.
- You can change this App’s tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Non-personalized ads may continue after permission is withdrawn. Google’s policies and account controls govern information Google processes; withdrawing tracking permission is not a request to erase information already sent.
- You can turn off notifications in your device's Settings > Notifications, and in-app sound and haptics in the App's settings screen.
7. Children
The App is intended for a general audience including teenagers and adults and is not a Kids app. The App does not ask you to sign up or enter your age. Content age ratings, advertising content ratings and privacy consent are different. This statement does not exempt the App from obligations concerning children.
8. Support information and contact
If you email us, we use your reply address, message, and any device details or attachments you voluntarily send to investigate and respond. Unnecessary information is deleted without undue delay once the support purpose is fulfilled; any retention required by law is distinguished by its basis and duration. Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment card information.

9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the way the App handles information changes, the App update notes will say so as well.
